Frisco is a small but charming community in the Outer Backs area of the United States. The town is on Hatteras Island located in Dare County, North Carolina and has some of the most beautiful beach area in the United States. Previous to 1898 the community was known as Trent or Trent Woods, then in 1898 it received itâ€™s new name as well as a zip code. For those interested in local history the Frisco Native American Museum is perfect, with educational displays and authentic artifacts, some of which were found at a nearby excavation of an ancient Indian village.
